Dear Mr XX (Europaeisches Parlament);
to adapt the internal rules of the staff regulation analogue to the UN CRPD is an obligation and not a question of good will.
I am sorry that I need to speak so frankly with you, but my impression is that the institution is not aware about the necessary steps after the ratification of 2006 UN CRPD on Dec 23rd, 2010.
In this case ("reasonable work accommodations") the internal rules need to be adapted based on the following articles of the convention: article 5, article 7, article 9, article 12, article 23, article 27 UN CRPD.
Nothing else is the case because of the financial demage caused by the inaccessibility of the European School.
You need to act asap, because otherwise the Parliament is violation human rights of persons with disabilities or relatives with disabilities.
Hopefully this information helps you; the UN CRPD is attached to this mail.
