*** based on article 29 UN CRPD ***
it seem to be necessary to enforce the link between DSGs work and the political level (Intergroup and other MEPs) systematically and to place e.g. regular meetings between DSG and the political level 5 (Top 7 e).
Reason for this opinion is the small or no progress in many points (see Top 2, Top 3, Top 4), which can not decided lonely by the administration within the framework of the statute: these are political questions in regard of the UN convention. The same situation exists in regard of the European School which will not be solved by any administration but only on the political level (as we see currently and in the past)!
For this reason it will be necessary (in my opinion) for the DSG to find a way of regular cooperation (as a independent body within the administration) and the political level. One way to do so could be to introduce petitions to the petitions committee (like mine in regard of the European School) in regard of all questions and necessary implementation of the UN CRPD within the European Institutions.
It cant be expected that the Institutions will be able to move these issues by themselves as we can see in the dramatic loss of staff within the Equal Opportunities Unit (resulting to a lack in disability expertise here!!). Top 4 shows clearly that the institutions go exactly into the opposite direction from what is necessary (implementation of the Un convention under given input of persons with disabilities, see article 27, article 29 UN CRPD) !
