Persons with disabilities are NOT excluded from ....

"the general education system on the basis of disability, and that children with disabilities are not excluded from free and compulsory primary education, or from secondary education, on the basis of disability"
Article 24 CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Recommendations from the petitioner to the members:

a) "open" the school to ALL children; independent of their disability and grade of disability  analogue to Article 24 UN CRPD: Inclusion means that the society will get real and will show all kind of human beings. This will lead to more respect for each other from the small age! (Inclusion in school!). The final decision needs to remain at the parents and not at the European School analogue to article 24 UN CRPD.

b) Inclusion is only efficient if the school provides ALL necessary disability adaptations, means also for children with autism or other learning disabilities, like ABA (applied behaviour analysis), what is currently not the case at the European Schools.

c) Inclusion is only efficient if the school provides ALL necessary learning adaptations, means also for children with autism or other learning disabilities, like individual learning in small groups or even in a 1:1 approach within an inclusive social environment (e.g. common sports or arts lessons) - this is currently not the case at the European Schools.

d) Reimbursement of all costs which are linked to the (till now) not adapted European School to avoid any discrimination against staff or members with disabled children! Till today the institutions have not reimbursed my expenses in regard of the non-adapted European School and neither guaranteed the cost coverage for future expenses, if the European School remains closed. This situation leads to extremely discriminatory circumstances (e.g. diseases, seperations of families) exclusively at staff and members with disabled children!
